Lasertel today announced that the planned acquisition by SELEX Galileo Inc. reported in November has now been completed. 

“We’re very excited about joining SELEX Galileo Inc. and look forward to the new opportunities this will create.  Lasertel will continue to be an industry leading supplier of laser diode components and the acquisition by Selex Galileo will help us continue our growth”, said Lasertel’s President, Mark McElhinney.

Lasertel will continue to operate out of its Tucson Arizona facility as an independent business unit and a merchant supplier of laser diode components, subassemblies and turn-key systems to the defense, industrial, graphics and medical markets.
